@ Amcis Hi and welcome to this site. I don't like your chances to have TomTom working with your device. Many people have tried, but only a couple have succeded, (sort of). The problem seems to be WIN CE 6 and 128 MB of RAM, either by itself or in combination. I personally have two devices, which look identical to yours in the screenshots you have here, except for the wordings, and I have tried, but never had any success. I don't know that NaviOne program, but I run both iGO8 and Primo on my devices. These are by far the most popular programs at the moment.

If you look around this site, for posts by either robynk or bazzle01, both have links to uploads of either, which are fully functional for 2DIN car units, for Australia. Just download and un-rar them on a SD card, plug them in, and bob's your uncle! But if you still like to pursue the TomTom angle, xr6falcon is the guy for that. Primo is much more advanced than iGO8 and has additional features. For TomTom you need a small program called 'FastActivate' to get it going. There are links for this around on this site. Or have a look at ichabod's recent thread for current TT maps where he has an alternate setup with automatic activation. You are not allowed to view links. Or to view., for details. But I still think you're flogging a dead horse, and TT itself is not a patch on Primo anyway, in my opinion.

Was about 585mb in size, finished downloading, and the RAR file won't open as it was corrupted or something. I haven't been able to find it anywhere else yet.

With that, I'm 100% with you, as I also go back a heck of a long time, to the days of mini-computers, in 1970s and 80s, where we had to each morning set up the boot loader addresses manually by toggle switches and red indicator lamps, to get the systems to fire up. And where memory sizes were talked about in bytes, and not Ks, Megs or Gigs. And our first hard drive was 128 k, and was housed in a cabinet the size of a present day 4 drawer filing cabinet.

With TT, I have met the challenge on my handheld devices, running CE 4.2 and 5 and with only 64 Meg of RAM, but 128 meg and CE 6, I also gave up. I did end up going with Primo v2, as I can't rewally afford to spend too much time on it, and I need the GPS to get to/from job sites. However I posted in the Primo thread, as I can't seem to seee the maps when the GPS is runnning. I'm not sure where to find the maps, or if they camne with the download I had. I guess we'll see what happens.

Old post I know but rather than start a new one. I'm a newbie on here & not very tech minded so please forgive me.

I (we) recently bought a new SUV & it had this in it.. You are not allowed to view links. But with an old Sycig card in it, 2011/12. After having an old Garmin 1490 with I think Sensis on it that I liked the lay out of but can't update anymore as they have gone to Navteq.

This Sygic is not as easy to use or read, I noticed that this one can use a few different systems like Tom Tom, Route 66, IGO & Finean. Can anyone please tell me which would be the easiest &/or best to use, stress on easiest LOL, it would be very muchly appreciated, thanks.

Oh & I do go off-road occasionally, just NP's, SF's & such, so anything with that be good to, thanks.
